Our rule of thumb is- cost, space, and usage efficiency. As a result, we provide a floor plan that takes into account the client’s wishes and professional guidelines.
Structural Engineering
A.K. Design and Engineering offers structural engineering design by a licensed engineer for residential projects. Our firm believes early intervention by our engineers during the architectural design phase is beneficial for many reasons. It can identify construction issues and create solutions, it can save time, and it can avoid having to re-design the client’s desired plans.
Overall, this ends up being a more cost-effective approach for the client.
Along with residential structural engineering services, our firm also offers other structural engineering services such as: earthquake retrofit, retaining wall design, and structural observations.
